Nuggy. Because I miss him.

Witty's Lagoon

Witty's Lagoon
It was almost dark when I took this picture. A mink or young otter almost walked over my feet as I stood in the darkness holding the cable release. Unfortunately my dog noticed the animal, started barking and it took off.

This was with my Canon FD using Fuji print film.

This was a long exposure using two neutral density filters. This causes the water surface to flatten.

Sooke River

Sooke River becomes a torrent in the winter. Vancouver Island doesn't usually get much of a snow pack, but it does get a lot of rain and rivers and streams tend to swell a great deal. I like how everything is leaning downstream, demonstrating the power of a river that meanders during the summer.
